These guys are masterful. They know how to convey emotion. They have sensitivity and the central pillar dance of our boys and girls. Today in L'Aliança del Poblenou we have had the opportunity to live a wonderful experience and that I recommend to everyone. This couple who founded the school have managed to grow and adapt to events and have also reinvented themselves. Congratulations!!!!!!

Great studio to get dance classes. They allow to mix too. The most important is that this summer 2026 they are opened.

After a year of processing, I finally feel the courage to share my traumatic experience with this dance school. I took their professional education for 2 years - first the pre-education and then the full time one. I already felt from the beginning that the structure wasn't good and we weren't really taught much technique, but since they ranked so well on Google, I thought I probably found the best school! I ended the education after the second year, after I had a bullying experience being the target of several different students from the professional education bullying me online and in person, and was severally stressed out both physically and mentally from the school. I had communicated the situation to the school and they decided to do absolutely NOTHING about it. Their answer to my very long email of explaining the harassment of the students both online and in person was "sorry to hear you couldn't feel comfortable in the formation, we will pass the notes to our team, we hope we will see you in our afternoon classes although not in the formation". I have the screenshots of these emails for anyone who wants to see it and I attached their careless answer below. Like what?? Such an intense bullying situation requires careful attention and if I were them, I would have invited the student in for an person meeting and really talk with them. But anyways, their values seem to be a lot more in the numbers than human care. On top of that, their professional education is low quality. I can now attest to this after having started a new professional education at another, less known, school which has been SO refreshing. They are actually teaching is the proper technique and the main focus is technique!!! In dancemotion, several of the students of the professional education were injured, me included and no wonder! All they taught was lots of choreo but greatly lacking in the technique part, in fact non-existent in most classes which may explain why they had a huge turnover rate of students leaving the education. Which may be great if you've already been dancing 5-10 years, but then they shouldn't accept beginner students... Since then I have met one of the teachers I had in the formation there who also left that school for similiar reasons of careless and inhumane behaviour, and had another student at my new school who did their audition and was accepted but once they discovered she was from Israel they rejected her without refunding the money she had paid for the casting. If you're a parent do not let your child take their education. They way the handled the bullying situation was horrific, and thankfully I'm an adult so I could handle it, but a 16-18 year old might have been marked for a long time by it. It's a shame because the quality of the teachers are good and I can see why they have good reviews, because if you just do their evening classes, you probably won't notice. But for someone really serious about learning to dance in a healthy, sustainable way, stay away from this school. Their values are not in the quality of the education nor the ethics, probably more about numbers, so better to focus on just evening classes. And btw before the school "they find no records of my attendence" which they did to most 1 star reviews, my full name of attendence was Cecilie (Malene) Hjorth and I have all the emails confirming my inscription and attendence.
